      Custom shock dyno services-

      Ahobbs LLC is based in Round Rock, Tx. Where we run a family owned business with 95% of products made in house. I’m 2022 we officially made the switch to Penske Racing Shocks due to their consistency and extreme high quality control . ALL Shock/Struts are CUSTOM built based on our experience and the Clients needs. We use a custom built Penske Shocks/ Roehrig 2hp Shock Dyno. The major advantage over other shops “if they even have a dyno” is our Roehrig 6.6.12 Software.

      Capabilities

      • Temperature or time-based warm-up
      • Static gas tests
      • Friction testing
      • Velocity Plots (constant, peak velocity, multiple constant)
      • Pass/Fail validation
      • The ability to import custom waveforms or playback track data to simulate real world conditions with EMA Systems.

      Having those capabilities ensures the client is getting the best and most accurately matched shocks possible, well within 1% due to Penske’s QC.

      Our goal and focus revolves around consistent unmatched high performance for track use, as well as unmatched ride and comfort for street use. Both are equally important to us. All shocks come with dyno sheets and starting points based on hp of the application. Clients are educated on what their dyno graph means and how it can be useful at the track, or simply cruising through the mountains on a road trip.

       

      Shock Services

      • to service your shocks (even if it’s not penske, rebuilds began at 175.00 per shock. All shocks come with fresh oil all new orings, Wiper Seals, and any other necessary replacement and a new dyno sheet. All of our Shim Stacks are from PRS as well as our Orings due to Quality Control

       

      Shock Dyno

      • if a potential client is interested simply knowing  the performance characteristics of their shock, we will dyno any shocks and send the results back for 50.00 per shock. (Pairs are best and a previous dyno to match is helpful)
