This kit is the full trunk tank install kit using the existing drain plugs in the vehicle. The install kit also comes with 40ft of double reinforced Vibrant 1" rubber hose. This hose is chosen due to it extreme durability and non-kink characteristics. There is no requirement to purchase this particular install kit, but we have tested and the inner diameter of the hose has a smooth internal lining that creates low friction loss in a closed system. Purchasing the install kit will add peace of mind.
